This announcement comes on the heels of the show's remarkable success in the UK, prompting the extension of its run for the second time since its debut in 2021. The show is now scheduled until February 2024, attesting to its enduring popularity and audience appeal.
‘The Choir of Man’ stands as a testament to the power of community and friendship, offering a unique blend of a celebratory party and concert within the ambiance of the self-proclaimed 'best pub in the world.' Boasting 90 minutes of uplifting and foot-stomping entertainment, the production features an eclectic repertoire of chart-topping hits from renowned artists such as Adele, Paul Simon, Katy Perry, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Luther Vandross, and more. The cast, comprising world-class tap dancers, singers, and instrumentalists, ensures a diverse and engaging experience for audiences of all tastes.
This international venture follows the success of previous TEG productions such as 'The Great Gatsby' in New York and 'Peaky Blinders: The Rise' in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, solidifying TEG's reputation as a global purveyor of exceptional live entertainment.
Conceived and Produced by Andrew Kay (Soweto Gospel Choir, Bluey’s Big Play, and the award-winning North by Northwest) and Nic Doodson (The Magnets, Gobsmacked, and Noise Boys),and co-produced by The Everywhere Group in collaboration with Stephen Lindsay, Brett Sirota, Scott Prisand, and Matthew Weaver (Rock of Ages and Soul Train), 'The Choir of Man' exemplifies artistic excellence.
